Produce
The Produce department carries a wide selection of organic fruits and vegetables.  We support local, independent farmers whenever possible and are committed to promoting sustainable agriculture and bio diversity. Our beautiful vegetables come from local farms such as the Vegetable Ranch, Kearsarge Gore Farm, Good Earth Farm  and Middle Branch Farm all within 24 miles of the Co-op.  Apples, blueberries and corn come from Apple Hill Farm, in Concord.  Herbs and fruits from Black River Produce in VT, and beets, carrots and greens from Harvest Hill Farm also in VT. Our produce department is one of our crowning glories.

Bulk Foods
Shopping in bulk is a great way to save money and reduce environmental waste from excess packaging. But that’s not the only reason to shop in bulk at the Co-op. We carry a large assortment of bulk products, ranging from grains, beans, flours and granola's, to coffee and tea, herbs and spices, tofu and grind-your-own nut butters. Dried fruits and additional products can be found in our repackaged bulk areas.  You can buy a pinch or a pound of your favorite herbs, nuts, grains and flours.

Meat / Poultry
We stock organically and naturally raised meat and poultry products, both fresh and frozen. Our products are free of antibiotics and hormones, and many come from local New England farms, such as Yankee Farmer's Market (buffalo meat) in Warner, NH and North Hollow Farm based in Randolph, VT. We have a nice selection of NH pork from Winrose Farm in Greenfield, NH. Miles Smith Farm in Loudon, NH provides us with Highlander beef. Misty Knolls in Vermont provides us with poultry products.

Fish
We carry high-quality, low-mercury frozen and canned fish and organic shrimp. One of our primary suppliers, Eco Fish, is out of Dover, NH. In our frozen section we carry Eco Fish tuna, bay scallops, wild mahi mahi. We have Natural Sea cod fillets, breaded clam strips, breaded coconut shrimp, crab cakes, and salmon fillet . Our canned section offers a variety of fish, such as albacore tuna, salmon, sardines, oysters, yellowfin tuna, and coho salmon caviar.  

Dairy / Domestic & Imported Cheeses
Our dairy section has organic and fresh milks, cream, yogurt, kefir, butter, and non-fertilized organic eggs. We carry organic and local dairy products and cheeses which are farmer certified rBGH free. We have a large selection of locally produced specialty cheeses from places as close as Agape Homestead in Center Ossipee and Boggy Meadow Farm in Walpole. We also have beautiful imported cheeses from places like Tuscany, Italy and Savoie, France. We carry a wide variety of goat and sheep milk cheeses, fresh mozzarella, eight varieties of blue cheese, cheddars, Alpine style cheese, and many more. We also offer low-sodium cheeses, cheeses made from raw milk, vegetable rennet cheeses, and vegan cheeses. We welcome and respond to requests as we continue to explore new sources for this growing department.

Meat / Dairy Alternatives
The Co-op stocks a wide selection of meat and dairy alternatives. Non-dairy ice creams such as Good Karma organic rice cream and Soy Delicious non-dairy frozen desserts. Meat-free deli meats such as turkey, bologna, sausage, bacon and hot dogs, tempeh, non-dairy butter, and mayonnaise, as well as milks made from soy, rice, oats, almonds or hazelnuts.

Refrigerated / Frozen Foods
One reason the Refer/Freezer section is so popular is the convenience it offers. A full line of prepared foods and ready-made meals makes cooking fast, easy, and healthy. Soups, salads, pasta, many types of spreads, and sandwich fixings make for a quick meal or snack. We offer frozen vegetables, fruits, prepared dishes, ice cream, non-dairy desserts, juices, and more. We stock a large selection of frozen foods such as Amy’s, Michael Angelo’s, Rising Moon Organics, Ling Ling, and Ethnic Gourmet. All of these products are free of fillers and preservatives. In addition to these, we carry a variety of decadent ice creams, sorbets and gelatin, frozen fruits and vegetables from Cascadian Farm and Woodstock Farm, and a large variety of waffles, from egg-less to gluten free.

Health / Beauty
Our varied selection of vitamins, supplements and homeopathic remedies is complemented by knowledgeable and friendly staff who are available to help answer your questions. Special orders are also available.

We carry a number of cruelty free beauty products. Luxuriate in our all natural products that are kind to both your body and the earth. Our products are not tested on animals.

Bakery
Our bakery department creates delicious pastries from scratch every day.  We never use mixes or artificial ingredients, and offer vegan, gluten-free and egg-free pastries.  We always have a wide range of goodies on hand- from warm muffins in the morning to elegant cakes for any of your special occasions.  We cater to special orders and can provide pastry platters as well- just be sure to call ahead and we can have your order waiting for you.  Check out our bread rack where we showcase our homemade daily bread, made from local King Arthur Flour, and fresh organic herbs.   Stop by our refrigerated section for any of our puddings, crisps or cakes, or, satisfy your sweet tooth at our bakers rack loaded with homemade cookies, fresh pies (made with organic fruit) and coffee cakes.

Artisan Breads
In addition to our grocery items, New England bakers showcase their artistry at the Co-op with breads ranging from European-style to hearty multi grains as well wheat-free and gluten-free loaves. Among these are 3 Little Birds, Abigail’s Bakery from New Hampshire, O’ Bread and Klinger’s from Vermont, Borealis and Pig’s Fly from Maine, and Berkshire Bakery from Massachusetts.

Beer / Wine

Our newest department features local, craft brewed, and organic beers. The coop stocks high-quality, great tasting beer such as Longtrail, Magic Hat, Orlio Organic, Trout River, Otter Creek, Wolaver’s Organic, Pennichuck, Smuttynose, Sherwood Forest, Allagash, and Geary’s.

For wine, the coop specializes in organic, sustainable, specialty, and hard-to-find wine. You will find your favorite varietals from great winemaking regions such as California Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, while having the opportunity to try something new like our delicious Tapena Tempranillo or Guy Saget Vouvray.
